Clearly, you want your home to sell for the highest price possible. As it turns out, when you sell your home plays one of the biggest roles into how much it sells for—and the best time to sell? Summer.

According to recent data from ATTOM Data Solutions, the summer months offer the highest seller premiums of any other time of year—with June leading the charge (at a 9.2% premium), followed closely by May (7.4%) and July (7.3%). And if you want to get the most bang for your buck? Make a move on June 28, when the average seller premium at resale is a whopping 10.8%.

The Takeaway:

What does this mean for you? Summer is right around the corner—and the best opportunity to sell your home is right around the corner with it. If you’ve been thinking about putting your home on the market, now is a great time to make a move—and a profit.
